Robert Soave, 74, of Salem, NH passed away suddenly at his residence on Friday, June 16, 2023. Robert or, as he was more lovingly called, Bob, was born July 13, 1948, in Boston, MA, to the late John and Norma (Richards) Soave.

Bob worked for over 30 years as an electrical engineer for AT&T/Lucent Technologies.  His skillfulness with computers and electronics continued well into his retired years, where he was always tinkering with objects, and he mastered the art of DIYing.  Bob enjoyed traveling and spent quality time backpacking through Europe in his early twenties. He had a passion for spending time outdoors, riding his bike, wood working, cabinetry, golfing, and baking: where his specialty was apple pie. Ultimately, the most important thing in his life were his children and grandchildren.  One of his joys with his children was being able to coach them in sports when they were young, and he was always making sure to be a presence in his grandchildren's lives.

He is survived by his children; Daniel R. Soave of Haverhill, MA; Katy Soave and her husband Steve Fukuda of Medford, MA; Jessica Soave and her husband Keith Partridge of Salem, NH: and Ken Wilson of Port Richey, FL.  He is also survived by his grandchildren; Myles Fukuda, plus one baby Fukuda on the way, Michael Wilson, Alexis Ahern, Olivia Partridge, Isabella Partridge, Tyler Partridge, and Jace Partridge, by his siblings; John Soave and his wife Diane of Flint, MI, Toni Murphy and her husband Jack of Canton, MA and Debbie Soave and her partner Pete Beauregard of Billerica, MA, by his former wife; Barbara Soave of Atkinson, NH, by his companion; May Eng of Salem, NH and by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
