Roberta "Bobbie" Fili, 82, of Salem, NH passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Prescott House, North Andover, MA.  She was born in Lawrence, MA, a daughter of the late Robert and Alice G. (Cairns) Wilson.

Bobbie graduated from Lawrence High School.  She worked for Salem Credit Union and later for Borden Chemical in North Andover, from where she retired in 1996.  She had been a resident of Salem for 60 years and was a long time member of St. David's Episcopal Church in Salem. Bobbie was extremely active in the local AA community and helped many people over the years. As of her birthday in January, she would have celebrated 39 years of sobriety. She was also active in the Salem Senior Center with her husband; Phil, and enjoyed going on the various trips they took.  Bobbie and Phil had recently renewed their wedding vows after 60 years prior to his passing; they were high school sweethearts and had been together 65 years.  Bobbie enjoyed painting in her spare time, and her family will treasure many of her projects. She also loved all the special times she shared with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children; Robert Fili and Janis Fahey of Lowell, Debra Ogin and her husband George and Mark Fili and his wife Kristin, all of Salem, her six grandchildren; Lauren, Erin, Nicole, David, Mackenna and Nicholas, by her sister in law; Diane Fredette and by five nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years; Philip L. Fili in 2017 and by her sister; Audrey Wilson Sapienza.

Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem.  A funeral service will follow Friday at 7:00pm in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. David's Episcopal Church, 231 Main St., Salem, NH 03079.
