R ussell W. Tylus, 66, of Andover, MA passed away at Lawrence General Hospital on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023 after a lengthy illness.

He was born and educated in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Geraldine (Leonard) and George "Sam" Tylus. He graduated from Lawrence High School. Russell worked as a buyer and planner for Computervison in Bedford, MA.

Russell enjoyed riding horses, fishing, playing golf and watching the Patriots. He was an avid dart player. Russell coached Andover Youth Soccer and was President of the Bradford Ski Team. Russell was a member of the Arlington Club.

He will be deeply missed by his 2 daughters, Lisa Tylus of Haverhill, MA and Lynne Meineke and husband Cameron of Cincinnati, OH; his 4 siblings, George "Sonny" Tylus and wife Janice of Salem, NH, Karoline "Kathy" Baillargeon of Andover, MA, Bernice and Thomas Karagoirgos of Lawrence, MA and Janice Sierra of Lawrence, MA; his sister-in-law, Sheila Tylus of Atkinson, NH; his former wife, Karen Elkin of Andover, MA; 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Tylus and his brother-in-law, Richard Baillargeon

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 26 ^th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH.
