Scott Alan Coyle, Sr. of Richmond, VA died unexpectedly Saturday morning, February 25, 2023. He was 64 years old.

Scott enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, camping, hiking and boating. His greatest joy in his life was teaching his son, Scott Coyle, Jr. these activities and spending time together.

Scott was the son of Richard and Beverly Coyle. He is survived by his mother, Beverly Coyle. He is survived by his mother, Beverly Coyle of Salem, NH; his brothers Richard, Michael and Timothy Coyle; his sister Sharon Lawrie and her husband Todd; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his beloved son, Scott Coyle Jr. and his father, Richard Coyle Sr.

Scott's smile and exuberance for life will be remembered by all who knew and loved him and he will be missed by his large family and numerous close friends.

A private memorial service will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. The Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
