Shirley J. Smith, 86, of Danville, NH and formerly of Salem, NH died Thursday, June 8 ^th at Salemhaven.

Shirley grew up in Watertown, NY and graduated from Watertown High School. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother who always loved spending time with her family. After her sons were grown, she worked at Parlex in Methuen as an Inspector. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Geary Senior Center in Plaistow and crocheting.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, her son, Joseph Smith, Jr. and her siblings.

Shirley is survived by her son Wayne Smith and his wife Carleen of Danville, NH; 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Matt, Drew and Chelsea Smith and several nieces and nephews

Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will be Monday at 11AM at Douglas & Johnson. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
