Stanton Christopher
Evans
d. May 3, 2025
Husband, son, brother, uncle and cousin, Stanton Christopher Evans, formerly of Atkinson, New Hampshire and most recently of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on May 3, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was surrounded by family and passed peacefully.
Born on December 23, 1973, Christopher and his family lived in Atkinson where he was a member of the Atkinson Congregational Church. He was particularly proud of his eight years of perfect attendance in Sunday School while there. Chris would attend Timberland Regional High School before graduating from Manchester Central High School in 1993.
Proudly achieving his Associate's Degree from the University of Maine at Machias, Chris then continued his education with the Job Corps first in Bangor, Maine then in Vergennes, Vermont. Throughout his adult life, Christopher held many jobs but was most proud of his position as a security guard with the Manchester, New Hampshire Job Corps.
Christopher loved his family, especially his wife Lori, whom he married in 2019. Together they lived in Bedford, NH. Throughout his life, Chris, or "Buzz" as he was affectionately called by those around him, faced profound physical and medical issues, but he consistently fought to maintain a positive outlook. A passionate homer for the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics, Christopher never missed an opportunity to share his opinions on the state of their seasons, good or bad.
After suffering a major stroke, Christopher spent the last four years at Premier Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Nashua, NH. His family wishes to express their deep gratitude for the care that he received while being treated there.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Lori (Munson) Evans of Merrimack, NH. He is predeceased by his father, Stanley C. Evans and is survived by his mother Marsha M. (Medwid) Evans of Scarborough, ME, his brother Michael Evans and wife Krista, of Lakewood, CO, his sister Melissa (Evans) Oliver and husband, Peter of Scarborough, ME, several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces, as well as many cousins, including Matthew English, with whom he was especially close.
