Thomas L. Faucher, Sr., 74, of Salem, NH passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 surrounded by family at Holy Family Hospital Methuen, MA. He was born in Lawrence, MA, and was the son of the late Joseph H. and Cecil (Pariseau) Faucher.
Tom was raised and educated in Lawrence MA and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Tom worked for over 35 years as a sales representative for the Lorillard Tobacco Company. He loved talking to people and truly enjoyed calling on his clients. His work took him over many miles and he earned numerous safety driving awards. Tom loved to sing, he was a member of the adult choir at St Patrick's Church in Lawrence and then sang with the The Gentleman's Songsters for several years. He especially loved singing Christmas carols around the fire pit on Christmas Eve with his family. His family was the most important aspect of his life and he enjoyed every moment he spent with his children and grandchildren. He also loved his motorcycle rides and fishing with his best friend Jerry. We will miss his great sense of humor, laughter and his dirty jokes.
Tom is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary K. (Trainor) Faucher of Salem, his seven children; Doreen Burns and her husband Craig of Windham, NH, Debra Dumont and her husband Rene of Salem, NH, Thomas Faucher, Jr. and his wife Kristy of N. Andover, MA, Stephen Faucher and his wife Lisa of N. Andover MA, Andrew Faucher and his wife Jaime of Auburn, NH, Kevin Faucher of Salem and Karen Klemczak and her husband Scott of Windham, NH. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his sister in law; Betty Ann Faucher of Windham, NH, his aunt; Ella Jackson of Salem, NH, and by several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Faucher and by his grandson, Joshua Dumont.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Tuesday, August 3 rd in Mary Queen of Peace, 200 Lawrence Rd., Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St., Salem.
