Thomas McLoughlin, 71, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 5 ^th at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Melrose, MA the son of the late Margaret (Daley) and Thomas McLoughlin.

Tom served his country in the US Air Force. During his time in Germany, he met Pam, "the love of his life." Tom worked as an Operations Manager for Integrated Distribution Services in Manchester, NH for over 30 years. He was a member of Centerpoint Community Church in Salem and he was a foster parent for Bethany Christian Services for many years. Tom was a coach for his son, Erik's team, the Salem Saints Youth Hockey team for several years and he spent many years as an unpaid softball catcher for his daughter, Janet.

He enjoyed hiking, traveling, scuba diving, reading, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Tom was an avid New England sports fan and a Civil War history buff. Tom was a devoted grandfather to his grandson, Ryan and he spent as much time as possible with him.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Pam (Powell) McLoughlin of Salem, NH; his children, Janet McLoughlin and her boyfriend Bob Eichert of Long Island, NY and Erik McLoughlin of Salem, NH and his girlfriend Daniella Leite of Long Island, NY; his brothers, Dave McLoughlin of Washington and Paul McLoughlin of Canada; his grandson, Ryan of Farmingdale, NY and 2 nieces Erin and Jenna.

Because of the current health crisis, a memorial service will be held at Centerpoint Community Church when it is safe to gather. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's name may be sent to: Jimmy Fund, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168 .
