Virginia Ann Bahan was born September 9, 1952 to Arthur J. Bahan and Emelda (Millie) Nadeau Bahan in Greenville S.C.. She attended school in Salem, N.H.and graduated from Salem High School in 1970. She then graduated from Plymouth State College in 1974.

In 1983 Ginny moved to the Washington, D.C. area where she took a position as a dispatcher for bicycle curriers. Although the company was sold three times she worked in the same offices in various positions, including Office Manager and, at her retirement, was National Vice President in charge of Legal Logistics for the company.

She attended Saint Monica and St. James an Episcopal church on Capitol Hill where she served on the vestry, fed the homeless in the "wee" hours of Saturday mornings, and participated in local out-reach and fundraisers for many years; including an Annual Art Auction for her church.

In 2016 she retired to Crystal River Village in Crystal River, FL where she made many new friends. Ginny is survived by many friends in the Washington, D.C. and Crystal River Florida area and her family will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her sister, Susan Bahan Boos along with daughter's family Jennifer and Scott Stone and their children Benjamin and Samantha, and her brother Arthur Bahan and wife Francine along with their children, spouses and grandchildren; David (Anne-Renée) and children Émile and Félix; Cynthia (Jean-Sébastien) and children Camille, Jasmine and Ariane; Sophie (Simon) and children Philippe and Sarah.

Graveside services are planned for Saturday, July 14th at 11:00am in Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main Street, Salem, NH.
