William J. Corey, Sr., 83, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 23 ^rd .

Bill was born and educated in Methuen, MA and he graduated from Tenney High School. He served his country in the US Navy. Bill worked as a truck driver for Coca Cola Bottling Co. for 40 years. After retiring from Coca Cola, he worked for Nault's Honda in Windham, NH. He also enjoyed doing maintenance projects for Woodview Commons. Bill enjoyed gardening and his weekly grocery shopping outings with his daughter. Bill was an avid reader who had a passion for history. He was known to say; "if we do not learn from our past, we are doomed to repeat." He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bill loved his dog Nikita and we are sure they were reunited at the Rainbow Bridge.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Celeste (Robichaud) Corey of Salem; his 6 children, Kathy Corey Fox and husband Warren of Pelham, NH, William Corey, Jr. of Salem, NH, Patricia Corey, Patrick Corey and wife Jeanine of Manchester, NH, Jennifer O'Clare of Hampstead, NH and Kerri Kelley and husband Dave of Derry, NH; his 8 grandchildren, Nicole Corey, Kayla Rezendes and husband Randy, Kyle Corey, Jeanine Santos, Sean Corey, Kaitlin Corey, Kara Verdonck and Sarah Kelley.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:30pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  A Memorial Service will follow at 6:30pm Friday in the funeral home.  Navy military funeral honors will follow the memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
