William "Bill" J. Beaulieu, 69, of Sandown, NH passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Robert J. and Rita N. (Honohan) Beaulieu.
Mr. Beaulieu grew up in Methuen, MA and graduated from Tenney High School. He proudly served his country as a medic in the U.S. Army. Following his discharge he went to work for and became a store director for Market Basket running the Seabrook Store #30. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, NASCAR, block parties, visiting his sons cabin in Pittsburg, Sunday family gatherings, driving his tractor, visiting Encore with his family and friends, smoking cigars , but most of all, spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; Lynn P. (Hamel) Beaulieu of Sandown, his children; Melissa Brough and her husband James of Derry, NH, William J. Beaulieu, Jr. and his wife Krystle of Middleton, NH, his twin daughters; Melanie Beaulieu of Derry and Michelle Hickey and her husband James of Danville, NH. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren; Joey, Jackson, Madison, Mason, Ivy and Grace, by two grand pups; Bella and Teddy, by his brother; Robert Beaulieu of Methuen, MA, by his sister; Noreen McComish of Derry, by a special family friend; Dave Elliot of St. Albans, ME, and also by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his lifelong friend; Chuck Martineau.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 3rd at 10:30am in St. Anne Parish, 26 Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH. Interment with military honors will follow in Center Cemetery, Sandown. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Homeland Heroes Foundation, 10 Delaware Dr., Suite 1, Salem, NH 03079.
