William J. Kater, 66, of Salem, NH passed away on Tuesday, March 1 ^st at his home.

He was born in Methuen, MA the son of the late E. Lillian (Cyr) and William Kater. William graduated from Salem High School and he received his Nursing Degree from Florida International University in Miami.  William loved football and talking with his family about any subject.

He is survived by his daughter, Natasha Plourde and her husband Bryan of Portland, ME; his brothers, Michael Kater and his wife Ann of Lady Lake, FL and Bruce Kater of Fort Collins, CO.  He has two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Neil Kater of Port Orange, FL
