Obituary

William “Bill” Sirois, 75, of Salem, NH passed away on Wednesday, October 28th at High Point Hospice in Haverhill, MA.

He grew up in Lawrence, MA and Salem, NH and graduated from Salem High School. Bill was the son of the late Jeannette and Delord Sirois. He worked as a machinist supervisor for many years at Lowell Paper Box and finished his career as a lead machinist for Century Box.

Bill was a devoted New England sports fan, especially when it came to the New England Patriots and football. He cherished spending time with his granddaughters and took great pride in attending their sporting events and school activities. Being there to support them brought him tremendous joy. He also enjoyed playing 45’s with his friends and had a special appreciation for watching thunderstorms.

Bill will be lovingly remembered for his love of family, his enthusiasm for New England sports, and the many special moments he shared with those closest to him.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Sirois of Salem, NH; his 2 children, Jodi Solt and her husband, Richard, of Salem, NH; Chad Sirois and his wife, Lisa, of Hooksett, NH; his 4 beloved granddaughters, Madison, Kaitlyn, Karli, and Miranda and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Randolph Sirois and Delores Martino.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
