Winona Collins, 87, of Salem, NH passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Salemhaven in Salem, NH.

Winona grew up in Malden and Medford, MA. Winona worked in the cafeteria at Salem High School for many years.  She enjoyed cooking, house cleaning, her cats, spending time with her family, gardening and spending time outside.

Winona will be deeply missed by her daughters Martha Collins and her partner Ronnie Deschenes of Salem, MA and Donna Dobeck and her husband Michael of Texas; her son in law and daughter in law Dalton and Lisa Marin of Hampstead, NH; her sisters, Joan Sbuttoni of Tewksbury, MA and Mary Perry of Derry, NH; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband James Collins and her daughters Cheryl Marin and Mary May.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16th from 10:00AM 11:00AM with a funeral service at 11:00AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Inurnment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill, MA 01830.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Winona's name may be made to the Salemhaven Resident Council Fund, 23 Geremonty Dr, Salem, NH 03079.
